The first annual ArtBots: The Robot Talent Show will take place in New York City on Saturday, May 25th, 2002. Creators of talented robots are invited to submit their robots for possible inclusion in the show. The deadline for entries is February 1st, 2002. To submit your robot for consideration, please copy/print and fill out the following form and send it to either: or:

ArtBots Entry FormProject contact name and email address: Who is involved in the project? Where are you based? Briefly describe your robot's talents: Ideally, how would your robot and its work be presented? Is this a currently functioning robot, or is it still being designed/built? If it is still in the planning stages, what is your timeline for completing the project? What are the physical dimensions of the robot and its operating area? How is your robot powered? Does it have any special or extraordinary power needs? Does your robot require access to any resources (other than electrical power) that you can not provide yourself? (e.g. a sound system, video projector, special lighting, compressed air, running water, etc.) Can your robot run continuously over the course of an afternoon? List any potentially dangerous elements of your project (gas engine, fire, hazardous chemicals, etc.): Is there anything else you think we should know about your robot? IMPORTANT: In addition to the above form, please provide documentation (photos, plans) of the project. HTML links, email attachments or hardcopy enclosures are all acceptable. |
